Alpha MEM is a modification of Minimum Essential Medium Eagle, containing non essential amino acids, vitamins and precursor nucleic acids. It has a higher level of amino acid concentrations in comparing with MEM. Alpha MEM is designed to support a range of mammalian cell types and is suitable for the cultivation of many cells grown in monolayers.
