Basal Medium Eagle (BME) is a minimum formulation used for the cultivation of many cells grown in monolayers. In combination with a serum, BME is also suitable for several normal and transformed cell lines. Tico Europe offers BME with either Earle’s or Hanks’ salts and these formulations are available with further modifications.
