The complete medium BIOAMF-2 is developed for the primary culture of human amniotic fluid cells and chorionic villi samples in both open (5% CO2) and closed systems. Compared with the conventional medium, BIOAMF-2 greatly reduces chromosome karyotyping time. Supplementation with serum is not necessary.
